Projects
A project is a folder for resources: prod, staging, a customer, a team. A resource belongs to at most one project (or none).
Resources still lists the whole catalog: project is a filter, not a second inventory.
Create and edit
Inventory → Projects (owner):
- name, description, color
- deleting a project does not delete resources — they become unassigned
The project card: members, search, Add resources (unassigned only).
How to assign

The overview counts how many rows are still unassigned.
Costs use the same project: the rate sits on the resource, and Costs “by project” joins from inventory.
