Inventory

Inventory is the console section that answers “what do we have, and where?”: servers, VMs, domains, storage, and records you add by hand.

Data arrives in two ways:

  1. The agent on your network queries providers and pushes snapshots. Proxmox, Prometheus, and other credentials never leave your network.
  2. Manual records for things the provider does not know (colo, someone else’s account, legacy). Agent sync does not overwrite those cards.

Getting started

  1. Connect an agent and wait for online under Agents.
  2. Open the catalog — the full resource table.
  3. Group with projects and tags.
  4. Merge cross-provider duplicates on Merges.

If you have no agent yet, use Add resource in the catalog.

What inventory is not

  • It does not store provider tokens — that is the agent.
  • It does not bill you — rates live under Costs; the resource card links to the active rate.
  • It does not send email — rules over inventory live under Alerts.
